The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for:

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product offerings
  • Provide customers with information on product pricing, features, and availability
  • Manage incoming sales opportunities (phone & web requests)
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements (market knowledge)
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Manage post-sales customer communication such as order confirmations
  • Manage periodic customer updates for new product offerings, etc.
  • Maintain / update customer database of sales opportunities
  • Update presentation formats and compile data for the preparation of sales presentations
  • Assist with collecting and creating content for relevant sales material / social media platforms

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Organizational Skills: Proven inside sales experience

  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Communication Skills:

  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills

Technology Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (specifically Word, Adobe, Excel) and various social media platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a welcoming face of our company for new and assigned account(s). Provide first level support for all incoming communications from the client and own the relationship internally across departments.
  • Serve as a representative for various trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customer group leaders to assess customers' immediate and long-term needs, contribute to defining solution offerings.
  • Support Director of Business development on incoming sales opportunities.
  • Identify new opportunities across target industries to contribute to monthly sales goals.
  • Monitor status of key projects/issues, contribute to prioritization decisions, and manage expectations on timing and delivery of updates.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing teams to provide valuable literature marketed directly to customer needs.
  • Collectively work with greater Sales team to ensure social media account are updated and managed.

  • Willingness to jump into the mix gathering information, problem-solving and learning.
  • Demonstrates confidence while delivering presentation materials to audiences (virtual and in-person)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, communications, technology or related field.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
